Foreign Affairs Minister H.E Dr Abdullatif Al Zayani attended France’s National Day celebration (Bastille Day)
Manama: Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, attended the reception held by the Ambassador of the French Republic to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Mr. Eric Chevallier, on the National Day (Bastille Day), in the presence of senior officials and heads of diplomatic missions accredited to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The Minister expressed Bahrain’s appreciation for the strong relations with the French Republic, emphasizing the depth of the bonds that unite the two countries at various levels, noting the visit of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to the French Republic in 2022, and the fruitful meeting between His Majesty and French President Emmanuel Macron.
Dr. Al Zayani affirmed that the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain, under the chairmanship of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, is working to strengthen this partnership, and to expand areas of cooperation and create new opportunities for effective bilateral cooperation for the common interests and mutual benefit.
Mr. Eric Chevallier expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome and support he has received from all parties in the Kingdom since his arrival to assume his duties. He praised the historical bilateral relations and close partnership between the two countries, highlighting the remarkable development over the past fifty years. He also praised His Majesty the King, and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for their keen interest in the French community residing in the Kingdom of Bahrain, wishing the Kingdom continued progress and prosperity.
