Princess Bajrakitiyabha, the eldest daughter of Thailand’s King Vajiralongkorn (Rama X)

Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha of Thailand, also known as Princess Pa, passed away on June 11, 2026, at the age of 47. She had been in intensive medical care at King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital in Bangkok following a severe collapse from a heart condition in December 2022. 

The Princess is fondly remembered for her extensive diplomatic and legal career. She served as Thailand’s ambassador to Austria and worked as a dedicated advocate for the United Nations, focusing heavily on criminal justice reform and improving the rights of female inmates globally
