Their Majesties the King and Queen of Thailand accompanied by Her Royal Highness Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana Rajakanya, on June 30 (local time) visited the Hôtel de Ville de Paris (Paris City Hall) during the official state visit to the French Republic to receive a briefing on the city’s “Sustainable Paris” urban development program. Upon arrival, Their Majesties were welcomed by the Mayor of Paris, Emmanuel Grégoire, First Deputy Mayor Lamia El Aaraje, and Deputy Mayor for International Relations Audrey Pulvar. The royal couple and Princess Sirivannavari then proceeded to the Salon des Arcades, where the mayor presented Paris’s vision and ongoing efforts for sustainable urban development.

Following the presentation, His Majesty the King affixed His Royal Signature, Her Majesty the Queen’s Royal Signature, and the name of Her Royal Highness Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana Rajakanya to the commemorative plaque.

After the visit, Their Majesties departed by royal motorcade for the Hôtel de Ville de Paris Pier on the banks of the Seine River to continue the official program of the state visit.
